8 Stratton Event Management is a Boston-based global event management firm working with brands to tell their stories. Clients come to us when they are ready to engage new audiences, stand out in their industries, and build relationships that lead to the longevity of their businesses. Our widespread experience in a variety of events and industries provides an all-around and dynamic perspective for our clients to ensure their events are personalized to their brand story and efficient use of their budget. Paired with our passion for people and events, our methodology reduces stress in the event planning process so our clients can elevate their marketing strategy.

Kelly Soule, Founder and Principal Planner, has over 15 years of experience successfully managing complex events, hospitality and marketing programs. She began her career at Goldman Sachs, executing large-scale research conferences and client entertainment programs. After years working as a consultant for the Sundance Film Festival, US Open and NFL on Location, in 2018, she transformed her experience into 8 Stratton, a full-service event management firm in the Corporate, Non-profit and Social environments. ​

 

Her love for events comes from a passion for people and a passion for logistics. Not only is every detail thoughtfully planned and executed, but she focuses on the complete guest experience and ensures every aspect of the event is a moment. With a loyal and dedicated team, behind her, her long-standing client relationships have brought her and the firm continued success. 

In addition to 8 Stratton Event Management, Kelly owns and operates Kelly Elizabeth Events, a boutique Wedding Planning firm. Kelly is originally from Westborough, MA but currently resides in Bourne, MA. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to new places and advocating for animal rescue.

Ashley Auger, Wedding and Event Manager, has been with us since 2018 and continues to delight our clients with her flawless execution of events of all shapes and sizes and attention to detail. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2015 with a degree in biology, Ashley worked in biomedical research and healthcare for a few years before transitioning to her true calling in event and wedding management.

 

Ashley has always had a knack for planning (just ask her friends and family who have always defaulted to her as the natural planner of the group!) and brings that passion and excitement to every event she is involved in. She loves to get to know her clients and couples throughout the planning process and helping to bring their unique visions to life for their event.

 

She currently resides just north of Boston and in her spare time loves to cook, explore new restaurants and cuisines, curl up with a good book and spend time with her friends, family and two cats, Mille + Morty!

Paula Taylor, Production Manager, has been with us since 2021 and manages  various corporate and social events as well as our office and inventory. Born in Boston, her family moved to New Orleans when she was young.  Before returning to Boston recently, Paula worked as an event planner and executive assistant for over 18 years at Howard Weil, a boutique oil and gas investment firm in New Orleans. From the smallest airport meet and greet with a local jazz trio, to grand formal parties for clients and colleagues, Paula was instrumental in making sure everyone "laissez les bon temps rouler" (let's the good times roll). 

 

Through her experience and her natural joy for life, she has an innate ability for organizing all things fun. You can often find Paula making friends with the guests at our weddings and events, ensuring everyone and everything is running smoothly.  Her natural love of events and all things festive shines brightly and we are happy to have her on our team.

We offer a variety of a la carte services for corporate, social and non-profit clients looking for assistance with an upcoming event or ongoing events program. Our client roster represents industries from financial, real estate, entertainment, retail, sports and technology. We work with companies of all shapes and sizes, but thrive when working with passionate brands and organizations eager to grow their presence and impress audiences with talk of the town events. 

Through the planning process, consider us an extension of your organization's team. The structure of our small team ensures communication is kept open, clear and timely.

WHY WE DO IT

Why do you host an event? To engage an audience, showcase your brand or straight up celebrate. We strongly believe that the logistics involved in planning should not be make or break to the success of an event. Our collaboration with clients to manage logistics and provide guidance on how to achieve their goals, allows them to just show up and focus on their business goals of the event (ESPECIALLY if that's just to celebrate and have a great time).
